September 2014 cards

Hi everyone hope you are all well. My month has started off as busy as usual, we celebrated "Mini Me's" AKA Amy's 13th birthday on Thursday.  Can you believe she is a teenager now, I'm sure many of you remember her attending club with me when she was only 3 or 4 years old & all she was interested in was what biscuits we had & when she could go out & play on the swings at the old Bawburgh hall.......My has she grown up since those days.

Well enough about my family lets get on with the cards

Card 1 - Sweet Sugar Candy by Jeanette - this card is for Hethersett only

Card 2 - Christmas through the looking glass by Sylvia

Card 3 -  Ho Ho Ho by Sharon

Card 4 - Quarter Fold Card by Sharon

You all like the cards this month xxx

August's cards

Hi everyone it seems like ages since we last all met up & I am so looking forward to seeing you all again & finding what you have all been up to. Unfortunately Sylvia will be unable to attend on Sunday as she is still recovering from her recent op but she hopes to make it back really soon.

As you may remember due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our traditional Christmas in July meeting,  we have therefore decided to have Christmas in August instead :-), so you know what that means........it's time to dust off those Christmas papers & stamps, grab all your sparkly glitters & put on some Christmas songs as we begin the countdown to our busiest card making time of the year.

So here goes with the first Christmas offerings of the year......

Card 1 -Rolled Up Tree

This card uses patterned paper which is rolled up & cut to make a different sort of Christmas tree. I've used traditional colours but I think pinks/purples would look just as good.

Card 2- Xmas Building Block card

This card involves quite a bit of scoring & cutting but I have made a guide for you all to help you along the way. Again I've chosen traditional colours but feel free to change the colour scheme to your personal taste. I will bring the stamp I've used but if you have your own please bring that along with you.
